The SignalThis movie was played the week before Diving-bell and the Orphanage, so many of you will not be able to see it. If you do have a chance to see the Signal, please do. It's one of the smartest horror-type films I've seen. The movie falls between several genres, but I think would appeal to many if given the chance. There is a lot of blood and violence, but the camera work is done in such a way that much of the worst violence is just beyond the scope of the lens. I don't know if this makes the shock worse or better. I remember very few, if any, cheap twists. The directors and writers definitely had fun creating this film. It's played in three parts/chapters, each filmed by a different director, each with it's own flavor. Parts are oddly funny, some oddly touching. The ending scene itself was perfect. One of the most satisfying conclusions to a movie I have ever seen.
